If games have been canceled, we will update the front page of the website with a header at the top, and update our rain-out line at 206-320-8326. If these do not show cancellations as of 3:30 pm on weekdays or 10 am on weekends, your game is on.

Decisions made past the above times will be made by game officials on site. If conditions have changed/change over the course of game play, we will text all players (who have texting enabled on their player page)to let them know games have been canceled.

We do our best to reschedule your game whenever possible. We are able to reschedule almost all games. We do not reschedule games to a day of the week you have not signed up to play. Your league will often be extended to reschedule canceled games.

Whether or not your game is rained out depends on a few things:

Softball/Kickball

Grass/Dirt Fields:

If your game is being played on a grass/dirt field, we will make a decision on the play-ability of games by 3:30pm on weekdays and 10am on weekends.

The decision is often made by parks and no matter how great the field looks when you drive by it, we aren't able to use the fields if they close the fields.

Decisions on game play-ability are largely made by the water in the ground, and not the water in the air. Even though it may be beautiful out now, the rain from earlier in the day or the night before may have saturated the field.

Conversely, it may be raining now, but if the field is not saturated to the point it is unsafe, your games may sill be played.

Additionally, we cancel games based on what the field conditions are, not what the forecast says they may be. Weather in the Pacific Northwest is constantly changing. We'd rather try to get your game in and have it rain than cancel your game when it was possible it could have been played.

Turf Fields:

If you are scheduled for a game on field turf, your game will be played rain or shine.

Flag Football

Flag football fields are played on turf, and are thus played rain or shine.

Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball games are played except in extreme decisions.

So, games are typically played when it is raining or windy.

We cancel games based on what the beach conditions are, not what the forecast says they may be. Weather in the Pacific Northwest is constantly changing. We'd rather try to get your game in and have it rain than cancel your game when it was possible it could have been played.
