Underdog does not have a registration deadline. It is always best to sign up as early as possible to get a spot.
Each league has a certain number of both team and individual spots available based on the field time that we have been allotted for that league.
Team spots are first come first served. Even after team spots are filled to capacity, we will leave a league open for sign-ups as it is not uncommon for a team to cancel their sign-up before the season starts.
So, even if you think you may be late to sign up, it's always best to sign up for the league you are interested in so we can contact you in case a spot becomes available. Additionally, we can let you know other leagues where we may be able to guarantee you a team spot.
For Indy registrations, we create Indy Teams using a number of factors: Teammate Requests (if a co-ed league, try signing up with the opposite gender), Sign-Up Date, and previous Underdog Indy experience (we try to have a good balance of new and experienced players). So, if you are interested, we would always encourage you to sign up for the league you're most interested in.
