Welcome to Seattle!
Signing up for something new and meeting people can be a daunting task, but fortunately, we have a ton of experience doing so, forming teams from people who were in the same situation as yourself in the past and creating teams and friendships that have lasted for 20 years in some cases.
Underdog offers three different ways to register:
- Individual (Indy):
Underdog manages all of the Indy sign-ups and makes teams from the registrations we receive. All of the people on these teams are in the same boat as you will be signing up by themselves or with 1-2 friends. Many will also be new to the area.
Indy sign-up are managed through Underdog, and everyone who is placed on the Indy Team roster pays the same amount through the Underdog site. There's no guarantee on making a roster, but if we have a spot available in a different league, we can move your registration and get you set up.
- Free Agent:
When signing up as a Free Agent, your registration goes into a pool, from which any captain in that league can recruit from to fill any roster spots on their team. There is no guarantee you'll make a team. Each captain is responsible for communication with you, as well as your payment. Underdog does not manage your placement as a free agent sign up.
- Team:
This is for people who have a group of people that they want to play with that is enough to make their own team. Rosters are managed by the person who signs up as the captain.
If you're new to the area, we recommend that you sign up as an individual for the best experience if you're looking to meet people and start your friend base in Seattle. If you even have 1 or 2 people that you want to play with, our system can link you to make sure you all end up on the same team.
We have had many Indy teams that have such a great experience that they sign up season over season.
